根據(jù)國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)GB/T8129-1997,對(duì)機(jī)床數(shù)字控制的定義:用數(shù)字控制的裝置(簡(jiǎn)稱數(shù)控裝置),在運(yùn)行的過程中,不斷的引入數(shù)字?jǐn)?shù)據(jù),從而對(duì)某一生產(chǎn)過程實(shí)現(xiàn)自動(dòng)控制,叫數(shù)字控制,簡(jiǎn)稱數(shù)控。用計(jì)算機(jī)控制加工功能,稱計(jì)算機(jī)數(shù)控簡(jiǎn)稱CNC。
數(shù)控機(jī)床即是采用了數(shù)控技術(shù)的機(jī)床,或者說裝備了數(shù)控系統(tǒng)的機(jī)床。從1952年第一臺(tái)數(shù)控機(jī)床問世后,數(shù)控系統(tǒng)已經(jīng)先后經(jīng)歷了兩個(gè)階段和六代的發(fā)展,其六代是電子管,晶體管,集成電路,小型計(jì)算機(jī),微處理器和基于工控PC機(jī)的通用CNC系統(tǒng)。其中三代為第一階段,稱作為硬件連接數(shù)控,簡(jiǎn)稱NC系統(tǒng)。后三代為第二階段,稱作計(jì)算機(jī)軟件數(shù)控,簡(jiǎn)稱CNC系統(tǒng)。

(1) 工序集中 20世紀(jì)50年代末期,在一般數(shù)控機(jī)床的基礎(chǔ)上開發(fā)了數(shù)控加工中心,即具備刀具自動(dòng)換刀數(shù)控機(jī)床。在加工中心機(jī)床上,工件一次裝夾后,機(jī)床的機(jī)械手可以自動(dòng)更換刀具,連續(xù)的對(duì)工件進(jìn)行多種工序加工。
