I/A Series的最大特點(diǎn)是開放,在系統(tǒng)與MIS通訊這一層上,不論是51系列還是70系列,都可以非常方便地和工廠信息網(wǎng)進(jìn)行通訊。Honeywell 發(fā)布TDC3000 標(biāo)準(zhǔn)系統(tǒng),它增加一條UCN(Universal Control Network)網(wǎng)絡(luò)用于取代DH網(wǎng)絡(luò)。我們現(xiàn)在通常所說的TDC3000系統(tǒng)就是LCN UCN結(jié)構(gòu)的系統(tǒng)。TDC3000重新對(duì)功能進(jìn)行劃分,在LCN上增加應(yīng)用模件AM(Application Module)用于高級(jí)控制;增加PLNM(Plant Network Module)與VAX計(jì)算機(jī)的接口模件用于優(yōu)化控制;將操作站與數(shù)據(jù)存儲(chǔ)管理分開,增加了歷史模件HM(History Module);推出萬能操作站US(Universal station) 在UCN上推出著名的PM系列控制器,同時(shí)引入安全系統(tǒng)SM(Safety Manager)用于工廠緊急安全停車。
TDC3000作為最為典型DCS系統(tǒng),進(jìn)一步體現(xiàn)了集散控制理念,主要特點(diǎn)有:
滿足較大規(guī)模生產(chǎn)需要,兩層控制網(wǎng)絡(luò)架構(gòu),每條LCN可以連接10條UCN,每條UCN可連接32對(duì)冗余控制器。還可以將64 條LCN通過NG連起來。
